Our History
Revelation began in 2005 in Auckland, founded by Anne Marie (Amma) Spice and Dave Rewi. Built on strong values of faith, culture, and whānau, Revelation was created to use sport as a vehicle for connection, growth, and community.
In 2014, Sheavoynne King and Damion Neri relocated their whānau to Ōtautahi and established Revelation Canterbury, building on the foundation and vision of the original Revelation movement.
What began as a small initiative to create a touch team for their whānau has grown into a thriving, whānau-centered sports club. Today, Revelation Canterbury continues to foster connection, belonging, and community — creating opportunities for tamariki, rangatahi, and adults to grow both on and off the field.
